    That place east of Waco....
    My wife knows the trooper's family, and I've seen him around Teague & Fairfield a lot. Good man. Hope they put down his murderer soon.

    Apparently Waller Co. Sheriff's Dept. have engaged the perp. Check out their FB page for more info.

    My wife and I were on US290 headed toward Hempstead and then College Station and were passed by Troopers going warp speed running Code 1 . . . and we were right near the Buccee's and the exit where all the officers were headed. As we continued on our way and then onto Hwy 6, we observed no less than 15 other units running hot to make their way to the Waller Co. scene near Buccee's (just west of it, actually). Whatever it was, I knew it was big, but I had no idea how big at the time. So glad they got the guy.
