    Nothing wrong with it if that's the barrel profile and rail you want. Personally don't like the government profile. Those quad rails are somewhat out of favor for the newer ones.

    Otherwise a decent deal.

    You did this to me!!! Hahaha but seriously my buddy tells me that chrome lined barrels aren't as good as chromoly or CMV.

    Depends I suppose...I've heard folks say chrome lining degrades accuracy. I guess if you were going to be really reaching out there you might see a difference, but IMO and please yall, correct me if I'm wrong, at 100 maybe 200 yards I doubt you will see a difference from it.

    Unless you are going into competition in which case you will probably go with stainless steel or melonite lined for accuracy, more likely the stainless, but general shooting the chrome lined 4150 chrome moly vanadium steel is just fine.

    I assume he meant the newer modular rail systems like MLOK or dick mod or whatever. The handguards with fixed rails are old school now.

    I still rock the basic KAC RAS on my guns though. Because you can score used ones for $50 at the fun show.

    I kinda dig the m4 look. Maybe down the road I'll have the barrel chopped to military length
