No joke it was illegal. The liberal agenda is cherry picking events to sway the masses. Now the beloved Fox news is pushing it.

Look up rule #13 in Rules For Radicals.

    It's liberal garbage.

Okay, I get it. You think the story is cherrypicked because you don't like the fact that there is some idiot gun owner out there hunting illegally and making us look bad.

Now Fox news is pushing it? What? There were there early on.

Well, just to keep you happy, here are more cherrypicked stories for you where hunters have shot people they didn't mean to shoot. This isn't an extensive list, but a cherrypicked list of a few recent incidents.

Maine, another woman killed by hunters... http://www.wcsh6.com/news/local/woman-killed-in-hebron-hunting-accident/486831900

AZ Fireman killed in CO ... https://www.azcentral.com/story/new...entally-shot-hunting-trip-colorado/885285001/

Guy shot by B-I-L in NY on Thanksgiving Day... http://www.watertowndailytimes.com/...in-hunting-accident-in-oneida-county-20171124

Guy shot by fellow hunters in WI ... http://www.sheboyganpress.com/story/news/2017/11/22/random-lake-man-shot-hunting-accident/890477001/

NH Bicyclist shot by hunter... http://www.concordmonitor.com/Police-Hunter-shot-woman-riding-bike-on-trail-13902620

KY man killed by hunter ... http://www.wdrb.com/story/36916526/...led-while-deer-hunting-in-breckinridge-county

These are all incidents where a person was shot by a HUNTER, many in just the past few days. No liberal agenda here, just real life pro-gun folks screwing up. Some were hunters shot by other hunters. Some were non-hunters shot by hunters. It really does happen more often than it should.

I once got peppered from across a pond. Friend shot down the water and it skipped. Thank goodness I was wearing pants. The pellets definitely had momentum.

    I'm still voting NO.

What ARE you blathering about? What are we voting on?

Anything having to to do with any sorta firearm regulation. Remember the no fly list of a couple years back? Basically politicians determine who's placed on the list. The supreme Fu@k the bill of rights. Political institutions will determine your rights. Interpret such into oblivion.

They couldn't do it fast so they're going slow. Take every news article with salt. From Vegas to the church shooting...

Disclaimer: I'm against divisions but the other side wants your way of life and culture destroyed much much faster and complete then you think.

I've tried dialogue. Several times. I went to the inner drive and emotions. All I can say...these fools are nUtS and incredibly smart. There's reason they occupy positions in colleges. Harvard levels.

Don't you dare believe the article posted as some kind of life betterment. A reason for new laws. It's propaganda.

I read page one of this thread. And this is page 5.
Any reason I need to look through the other 3?
    Probably not.

I think we were supposed to vote a few hours ago, at least that's when I heard of a vote. Although I do write my reps when they vote, I have yet been asked by congress or the senate to vote on bills.

It wasn't a hunting accident. It was a moron who thought a woman was a deer.

Their title isn't misleading. It doesn't paint it in a negative manner any more so than the events do. Sunset or not. The only safety issue I see is the hunter shooting a woman because he's a moron.

    Younggun,

I suspect that this was NOT "an accident" = In my experience, MANY "hunting accidents" are anything but accidental. A lot of those shootings are intentional homicides.
This "incident" needs a real investigation before deciding that it was "an accident" or a "case of stupidity" or "negligence".

The shooter was POACHING (after hours and on private property without permission). So he was engaged in illegal activity. There is no indication that he knew the victim and if he did know her and intentionally shot her, why would he call 911 and wait for help to arrive?

No "accident." He intentionally pulled the trigger and tried to kill what he saw. He succeeded. Never seen a real investigation draw the conclusion that it was "an act of stupidity," LOL.

    Double Naught Spy,

As to "an act of stupidity", I once had a case in Baltimore, where the shooter hit a pedestrian (I got involved in the case because the wounded man was an Army Corporal & stationed at Ft. Meade.) while "just shooting out the window, for the Hell of it". = The MD District Court found "no specific intent to cause harm to a person" & sentenced the shooter to a large fine, court costs & 45 days in the city lock-up.
(Just "shooting out the window" is an act of UTTER stupidity, whether or not that the person INTENDS harm to result..)

I suspect that this shooting was NO accident. - Perhaps he feared that the woman would report him for poaching??
    OR
He just wanted to shoot somebody that day. = LOTS of "stranger killings": turn out to be THRILL killings.

Often criminals report their evil deeds to TRY to make them look like "accidents". OR it could be that the shooter felt bad after shooting her & therefore reported the "accidental shooting".
