I hope you have better luck with your Precision rifle than I did with mine.
I had bolt closure issues. The factory mags would some times drop out without input from me.
I bought the 6.5 Creedmoor rifle hoping for a serious long range shooter. 1" to 1.5" five shot groups at 100 yards was the best results I could get from my Precision rifle. I sold the rifle back to my FFL friend two weeks after I purchased it.
On a whim, I bought a Ruger New American Predator Rifle in 6.5 Creedmoor. A $400 purchase. I installed a spare Leupold Mark IV scope on it. I get dime size 5 shot groups at 100 yards with good weather conditions. I have an unfired custom built Remington 700 6.5 Creedmoor rifle in the gun cabinet. I have yet to shoot it because I enjoy this little Ruger rifle so much. The Predator is considerably lighter to tote around than the Precision Rifle was also.
Looking forward to reading your range reports.
    Good luck.
