HEY! You stole my meme! LOL!

    Doctor Moonpie prescribes the following:

    1.) Stop typing
2.) Step away from the computer.
    3.) Load range bag.
4.) Go to gun range and exercise fingers and hands.
    5.) Shoot ALL available ammunitions.
6.) Gunpowder smoke is good for the soul.
Although good advice, I hope you all realize that MoonPie only plays a doctor on TGT.

I'm curious to your post. I'm not sure of the plot point. You gain self righteousness on the belief your view is the most seemingly rational?

No, not at all. It’s what other people seem to miss when a particular topic is brought up and debated. Some topics, as far as, the evidence presented or the conclusions arrived at (or not arrived at) are self-evident, but some refuse to see the truth. Case in point: HRC mishandling of classified information and the private server she used during her tenure as SOS and the seemingly mishandling by the FBI. There were numerous missteps, protocol violation and statutes dismissed etc... and yet as reported by some and condoned by others to include the current DOJ; HRC escapes prosecution. I may have my own personal bias, but I do consider myself rational, intellectual able to separate the blatant mistruths and wrongdoing and morally grounded to understand the differences. Others not so much. Shutting down free speech (college campuses), censoring speech (FB, Twitter and Google) or failing to be truthful or rational in reporting news or a viewpoint (WAPO, NYT, CNN etc..) takes away from honest and sincere debate, solutions or justices.

Did Charlie get banned? I can't see his profile or anything when I click on his name. Not sure how bans appear in the new format

Whoa calm down. I was genuinely curious. No need to insult
Not trying to be insulting only slightly snarky and condescending. Looks like I fail all around. Sorry the arshole in me came out too much.

On a private forum where the basic business model is endangered by even a perception that the forum is lending credibility to viewpoints that are generally acknowledged to be shockingly offensive to virtually the entire population from which the forum derives income, yes.

I'm surprised the mods haven't already kicked him.
You have to weight that against the member base which I would argue is not adverse to controversy and are staunch supporters of freedom of speech (in the informal sense). If a forum loses a sponsor that is bad, but if it lose it's members then the adspace is worthless.

No one wants participate on a boring forum, and having some discord is part of that. As long as it's there's no personal attacks (allowing for the ocasional ad hominime as it just makes the one using it look dumb), and it's a mostly civil discorse then the owner of offensive opions is more helpful that hurtful.

    Did Charlie get banned?

To ban anybody because they are exercising freedom of speech in a thread promoting freedom of speech is disturbing to me.
