Just looking for something I can load 223 with. I've been using h335 but open to anything that works good.

On a side note, how is h4198 for 223?

The H335 ya list should work fine - the 4198 as noted above just takes too much to get proper cycling in ARs and can be finicky - Varget is another good choice for heavier 69-77s, but personally my custom 77 load runs on AA2460 and I use it on heavier bullets too....

Stick with what ya got there (H335) and you should make out fine.

Ya I've loaded a couple thousand with it and haven't had any issues at all. Meters well in my drop and seems to work just fine. I haven't tried it in my pro1000 yet though. Planning on setting it up to run a few thousand 223 soon.

No I just have about a half of a pound or so left from when I was loading for the AK. I saw some data to load 460 s&w for it and was thinking of trying it in there sometime as well.

I also heard h4895 doesn't work well. Is that correct as well?

Any of the 4895s work great in ARs.

Loaded a few Pig Eliminators. The trick will be getting the 10,000ft/lbs of energy released before they exit. Or maybe wait for them to line up.

Curious about velocity as well. I am also curious about the round in general.

    How do you like it?
Hoping for 3300-3450fps. With a 90gr berger going that fast it will be a laser and hell on critters. With Sierra's release of their new 95gr 224 bullet with s g1 bc of .600 it could be a heck of a target round too.

It's a blast to shoot. Probably not super easy on barrels but they make more of those every day. I used a mild load running an 80gr vld to take a deer this year an it worked like a charm. Complete pass through behind the shoulders and liquified the lungs and top of the heartat 135yds. Took a couple racoons at 280yds and it darn near took the heads off.

Received my little Lee Lead Pot to use with the kit from Canada to anneal brass. Now if Canada would come thru I would be fine. Pot was free, daughter and SIL gave me a Gift Certificate to Midway.
