Different folks, different strokes, I suppose. I've taken time to familiarize myself with the ppk platform,v and I'm comfortable with it. I consider it the 1911 of concealed carry.

How many of you knew that John Moses Browning designed the .380 to be a 3/4 dimensional replica to the .45 acp?
Pretty sure the .380 is just a 9mm parabellum with a shorter case. I could be wrong though, it happened once before.

    That is not the case.

Actually he was mostly correct - the 9mm Browning Short, 9mm Kurtz, 380 ACP (ALL being the same spec ammo - depending on which side of the pond you are one) are the same diameter as 9mm Luger, and uses lighter weighted bullets with a shorter case.

The 9mm bullet is heavier weighted and one cannot use 380 bullets in the 9mm or the 9mm bullet in the 380 despite their similar diameters because of the difference in their bullet lengths.

I have trouble reloading 380 due to size. Those little bullets are hard to put into the case. I gave up on loading 32 auto.
