Nice article that does some relevant number crunching about the impact of illegal immigrants on crime in Arizona. Kind of blows the liberal rantings about illegals out of the water:

    https://townhall.com/columnists/sco...immigration-and-cato-wont-be-pleased-n2435126

    Quote:

“Undocumented immigrants are at least 142% more likely to be convicted of crime than other Arizonans,” Lott concludes from the data.

    Quote:

They also tend to commit more serious crimes and serve 10.5% longer sentences, more likely to be classified as dangerous, and 45% more likely to be gang members than U.S. citizens.

    Quote:
Lott writes, “If undocumented immigrants committed crime nationally as they do in Arizona, in 2016 they would have been responsible for over 1,000 more murders, 5,200 rapes, 8,900 robberies, 25,300 aggravated assaults, and 26,900 burglaries.”

Its beyond my understanding how when there are obvious, intentional omissions in essential information (data) and, or use of irrelevant or misleading information (data) in a report, that the person responsible is not publicly disgraced, and when their documents are written and used for official proceedings, prosecuted for fraud.

Because Trump, and you're a racist.

That's pretty much the argument these days.

As an immigrant myself, there is nothing more infuriating than to be thrown in the same box as illegal aliens. I'd say to stop calling them immigrants altogether. Illegal alien is the only correct description for these criminals.

The Chinese allows border soldiers to shoot on sight anyone illegally crossing their border. Maybe we can learn a lesson or two from them.

My wife's family immigrated legally from Mexico long ago

And interestingly, they hate illegal Mexican immigrants.

My mom was a legal immigrant in 1968...same deal.

Read this. Legal status, as in green card, but no citizenship or voting rights. Hasn’t the argument been, “they were brought here for a better life?” OK, green card only. Do you think the Democrats will go for this? Whose self-interest is being served?

“Capping it all, the Democrats consistently elide answering the key question: shouldn't we provide a mechanism so that day workers can shuttle in then out, so our country is not unreasonably frontloaded? Why must average taxpayers support, in this damaging and countervailing fashion, the volume of demand by Democrats to elicit a straight Dem party ticket forevermore?

How about swearing all DACA miscreants to a status that will forever forbid these waves of suckerfish from voting? No votes for any of these interlopers. Watch the Democrats scream, abandoning interest in the entire universe of DACA noise and pressure. If they never vote, ever, they can stay, we could decree.

If they can never vote, the truth of "caring and sympathetic Dems" will be revealed. They won't give a hoot for these "innocent people just seeking a better life for themselves."

What we are doing now isn't working so let's try that and see if it helps.

Not just the border gaurds either.

Imagine if we took a much more aggressive approach to defending our border; it just might curb more or stop a whole lot of illegal activity. Coupled that with roaming militia and then maybe we could have a secure border and homeland. Extreme and radical, just a thought nevertheless.
