I have a polymer frame KZ-45 from Wilson Combat and I absolutely love it. While the above gun may not be a "pure" 1911, remain open-minded and try it if you can, before you judge it. Weapons, as well as tactics, must evolve with ever-changing combat environments and enemies.

Vaquero, thanks for posting that. Some here, apparently feel that offering is blasphemous. I’m not so sure. John Moses Browning was obviously a man ahead of his time. He worked in metal mainly because that’s all that was available to him at the time. Who’s to say he wouldn’t have embraced these new “space age” polymers, given a different time line of life? In any case, I welcome Liberty into the 1911 fray (especially the 80% build market).

I don't even like 1911s (although I have a Kimber and will probably buy the gaudiest, whored-outested full size 1911 I can find later this year, because reasons), but this is just an abomination and an offense to the gods.

Is it just me, or does that look like it was made with some first generation prototype 3d printer?

There are lots of plastic pistols out on the market that have a much better look, texture, finish, stippling, etc. That just looks wrong even if you take the 1911 part out of the equation.

Guess they didn't like the grip safety. Also not sure if advertising that you're square trigger guard makes it compatible with glock stuff is such a good idea if you're chasing the 1911 crowd.

Although I only have 1 polymer pistol (sr22) I'm still interested in checking it out. I'm 100% sure I will not buy one though.

If the whole kit is really $399 I’ll bite. It’s an untraceable, no serial number pistol. And you never know, it might be a nice shooter. If not then I’ll sell it for about $450. Hell it ain’t much more than I paid for the Glock 43.
