Wanna know how they'll come for our guns? Look to California.

Exactly. Aggressive increases in what is prohibited, attacks on ammunition purchases, a growing assault weapons ban with no sunset and no transfers. It practically is the blue print for nationwide gun control by the gun grabbers.

As to the comment that there was no armed resistance to the Katrina confiscation - that's simply false.

Perhaps I was not clear what I mean by "armed resistance". The comment was based on this context:

All I can say is "let them try to take my guns. If you think you have seen rebellion in the past, you ain't seen nothing yet!"

Thus I meant nobody shot it out with Police (rebellion). Of course some armed people resisted, The video of granny getting her gun pried from her fingers for example.

They're not going to confiscate anything. It's a logistic nightmare. The easiest and most direct control they have is Taxation.

Pay very close attention to the price of ammo. With the possibility of background check for it and laws that restrict the hell out of who's allowed to sell it. Also remember the no fly list. Step by step in controlling the ammo out of your hands.

Considering how much they hate everything you believe and stand for. I'd expect it sooner then later.

    This would be my guess.

They really really want the guns. The internet continuum reeks of gun control. News and comedy. They're getting serious. Your worst enemy has a doctorate on how to use your rules against you. There will be no good in this.

The really odd part about this I can't figure out. It's true, Obama was the Best gun salesman. Everybody that paid attention stocked the hell up to where the market has slowed.

Millions and millions of ARs and billions of rounds sold by Obama. They want gun control now? That's just stupid even by federal standards. We're paying tax for this.

Powder, primers, casings will be included in with ammo legislation. It's already been hit with a hazmat tax. One step further and you'll be lucky to buy the powder.

The difference this time. There's indication they're going after the ammo. Of course they can't take the guns. They can take the ammo because their regulations control ammo production.

This is a new dead horse. Fresh and stanky.

I sincerely hope you folks, young and old, have what you want in guns and ammo because I see guns not necessarily disappearing and unobtainable, but becoming much harder to get and therefore much more expensive. When I was 13 I rode my bicycle to downtown Waco and bought a single shot shotgun at a pawn shop for $13, hung it on my back and rode home!
You guys need to only "buy" never sell!

That world is gOne but not forgotten. When Samuel Colt said make all men equal. He also meant age or stature. The ability to protect yourself until the day you die. Made equals.

That $13 with adjusted inflation is about $300.
