$300 is my max for these, even at that price point there are much lighter and arguably better options.

For EDC, I agree, but I'm at a point as I'm sure a few others here are as well, where I have that need filled a few times over. Sometimes it's just about having it, shooting it a few times a year and appreciating a gun for what it is.

How I check for "good price" on pretty much any new gun.
1st. Get the model # info correct off of the manufactures website, for my example let's use a Ruger GP100 match champion. Which is a Ruger model #1754.
2nd. Go to Gun Deals Today website , https://gun.deals/today and enter "Ruger 1754" in the search window, hit enter
3rd. You'll see a listing of gun shops and their current asking price, but that's not all! Click on the $$$ price and it will open the listing up with a little more info.
4th. You'll see on the left in bold letters MPN, then click on the sku number (about 12 numbers) to the right of MPN, it will open another window listing a listing of pretty much everyones lowest price.
That should get you enough information to know whether a price is fair, good, high, whatever.

That's easy, go with the Primary Arms micro dot with 50k hour life. I like ADM mounts so that adds another 60-80. Check the abuse guys have put them through on youtube

If its for social work and you want the best, Aimpoint. Micro or Pro, the Pro has alot going for it and can be had on sale or lightly used for $350 delivered.

I warned you that Southpaw is evil!

Honestly, this Florida shit is keeping me from doing my sworn duty on this thread effectively... I've been trying to decide on a new rifle myself and I keep getting sidetracked with the other threads.

    Yes, I'm easily distracted.
