In follow up pictures he allegedly cut both receivers in half with one cut.

oops, my bad as I did not see the "follow-ups"..........., but my classification of this individual stands he's a "nut", (with obviously more money than good sense, to be tossing money away as he did, not to mention ruining an old classic to boot).

True, but if you are one that has a classic like that, you could look at it as "mine just became more valuable".

Ya know, for gun folk you boys are abit lacking in common sense and firearm smarts.......

When this yahoo decided to molest a older classic AR15, first off he didn't create SBR in the "proper" accepted manner of use here; as, yes, he whacked the rifle length gas block and gas tube off, right along with the barrel. So while he "did" turned it into a single shot, hard to load short barrel'd rifle, I don't think the even the dumbazz'd "F" troop would get their panties in a knot over this asinine display.

Secondly, other than the triangular hand-guard, (which can be replaced at any number of places) he didn't damage anything that could not be replaced in 15 minutes by a competent gunsmith. A new HG, barrel, gas tube and bingo gun is back in GTG form.

For all we know the barrel on that older AR variant could have been shot-out, maybe his wife was gonna cut him off if he didn't get rid of it, or perhaps this was just his "attention whore" ego and he just chose this public manner of expressing himself to be a nut.
Its still an SBR though which mad max was asking. Common sense should tell you that much

My friend believes that the epidemic of School Shootings is caused by angry, mentally disturbed juveniles who have seen the hysterical response from Media, Politicians, Celebrities and Anti-Gun Lobbies that followed each of these incidents beginning in April 1999 with Columbine HS, Littleton, CO shooting. This small percentage of dangerous, mentally and emotionally disturbed (or just plain evil) juvenile murderers have found School Shootings are the most effective way to strike at society, attract public attention, and assure their permanent notoriety. It must be admitted that this scenario works out pretty much exactly as he suggests.

Research on school shootings returns a flood of incidents going back to the 19th century, but the nature and causes for these shootings include accidents and suicides. The motivations of shooters, and classifications of the academic institutions (which include grammar schools through universities) obscure any definite patterns leading up to the Mass School Shooting Phenomenon that started at Columbine.

People want to stop this growing problem. For simple minded people like women, the quickest solution is to confiscate all the guns because: “With No Guns there couldn’t be any School Shootings!” The fact that this involves changing the defining characteristics of citizenship and the relationship between our citizens and government seems inconsequential to the simple minds of women and effeminate men.

School Shooting have caused terrible losses of innocent lives, but the actual degree of risk, even as things are now, are overemphasized. The statistical risk to children is not rationally significant. Factually, far more juveniles die each year from not being vaccinated >300 deaths per annum which are entirely preventable and result from the neglect and irresponsibility of the same women that are protesting private ownership of guns. In my opinion, School Shooters are just finishing up the job for them. Consider also, if the motivation of these women is to prevent unnecessary deaths, wouldn’t they be forming Political Action Groups to address the most significant causes of unnecessary deaths of citizens like Medical Errors and Malpractice which accounts for >80,000 deaths per annum? No! In fact these women are enlisting the support of Physicians’ Organizations to support their attack on Gun Rights, Freedom and Democracy. Isn’t it convenient for the Physicians that all the attention is being distracted away from their dirty little secret.

I think the epidemic and synchronicity of these Mass Shootings is just too convenient by my estimation when you consider the political forces that are lined up on both sides of the Gun Control issue. I don’t put anything past those who support Leftist Ideology. Marxist adoption of MachiavellI’s principle, “The end justifies the means!” supplies them the ethical license to do anything and everything necessary to achieve their goals and an armed citizenry presents the final obstacle to their plans for achieving tyrannical control of our Country. If not through direct assistance, then by providing an avalanche of Media coverage and public attention with intent to encourage more of these mental cases to strike and provide more evidence to justify their final solution.

    Ass whippings.
    Schools need more ass whippings.

Y'all can post all the character heavy shit you want to.
More words don't equate to more intelligence.
    Blah blah blah.
At home or in the principal's office, these kids need their ass busted.
I saw it coming when I had to "check the box" and sign for my children's in school punishment.

My girls got off easy at school. They paid the price at home.

I got my last one in school in first grade. Couldn't stop talking. Learned my lesson. Got plenty more at home with a belt and I deserved every one of them. I think it taught me to respect my mother immediately, and other people generally.

I went with a more psychological way of punishment with my kids. It was equally effective though. Maybe I was old school, but there were lines the kiddos could not cross. I learned, that when you're pissed as hell, back off for a bit, and it's not that hard to figure out how to put the screws to them (figuratively of course.)

I was a child living in the Bahamas when the U.S. ended corporal punishment in schools and it was a couple years before we moved back to the states. I still remember the British school teachers saying that was a big mistake. Although I never was on the receiving end, I can still remember that cricket bat with the holes drilled into it hanging on the wall behind the headmasters desk. That in itself was a deterrent.
Today they would condemn something like that as intimidation and fire anyone that would try such a thing. It was intimidation, but not in a bad way, just ask how well it kept those that were on the receiving end from ever wanting it again.
