So how that police officer pension thing going? Officers are bailing because Mr Rawlings does Dallas completely phucked up and bankrupted the retirement accounts of many many civil service employees.

Whatever comes out his liberal mouth is a joke. Right now he's picking out more statutes to take down. The guy is a serious dumba$$.

They can come over to Irving. We have a nice convention center.

Nope, not large enough, (as I volunteered at several there at GHB in Houston, I found there are only 5-6 convention locations large enough to be considered by the NRA). It's a really BIG deal.

Didn't realize it was in Dallas. Thanks for reminding me Mayor pro-temp.

The NRA ought to get him a few free entries into the gun giveaway they'll have for his free advertising.

That would be interesting. I hear jerry world likes to ban guns at all venues such as concerts.
GREAT IDEA! Another GFZ for a mass murderer...

here is what the Dallas Mayor ProTend said:

DALLAS, Texas - A leader in Dallas politics does not want the National Rifle Association to meet in his city.

Mayor Pro Tem Dwaine Caraway is urging the NRA to find a new home for its annual convention.

He says the meeting is not appropriate in Dallas in the wake of last week's school shooting in Florida.

Caraway also points to the past tragedies in Dallas, including the 2016 ambush that killed five Dallas officers, and the assassination of President John F. Kennedy.

"It is a tough call when you ask the NRA to reconsider coming to Dallas. But it is putting all citizens first and getting them to come to the table and elected officials to come to the table, and to address this madness now," Caraway said.

Dallas has sadly turned into more of a liberal haven than Austin I think. I wanna puke out my window every time I drive somewhere in this God forsaken place. SMH.
