This is why I'm an individualist. I judge a person by what that person does, not by what group they claim to be. Probably why I don't have any black friends....or white friends.....

    .....I just have friends.

I also try to judge on character rather than skin tone, but in the case of racial profiling, how can you not? To narrow it down in description, you have to give things like skin tone. There is no easy solution to racism, it's how, even in our own minds, we separate individuals.

Even groups that say they want to end racism, use racism. Take Black Lives Matter, they've already made a distinction between races just in their name.

Problem is, many people confuse racism with racist and in that there is a difference.

Yeah, but these days if you follow MLK's philosophy and don't care what someone's skin color is, you're called racist because being "color blind" means you "deny" the "struggle" other ethnicities face - in other words, to not be racist you have to believe that someone with a different skin color than white is not capable of making something of themselves without a "compassionate" handout from white people.

Funny thing, I don't think viewing other ethnicities as incapable of improving themselves is particularly enlightened. Seems to me it's less bigoted to simply judge someone for who they are and what they do. Guess I'm racist. At least I'm in good company with Dr King.

There's more differences than just skin color! I get so damn tired of hearing that crap. There is major differences in hair type, facial features, etc. It makes it sound like a white man would look EXACTLY like a black man if his SKIN were only BLACK! I think we all know that's patently BULLSHIT!

But it's not something you can dismiss in giving an accurate description.

Accurate description?? When's the last time you heard an ACCURATE description on the news? If they might offend one of our chosen minorities? Then they say "he was 5'10", 180 lbs, with DARK features". Hell, that could be ANYONE! They hardly ever say he was BLACK! This PC bullshit when it comes to race of a suspected robber, or whatnot, is wearing my old butt OUT!

If I'm giving a description, more then likely I'm giving to the police and not the news. I'm pretty sure the police still like accuracy, but then of course I don't live in Austin either.

Yeah, those "meds" they put these loonies on seem to mess up their "normal" messed up thinking and they don't like it, so they quit taking them. We hear this all the time. Ought to be a requirement that if you DON'T take your meds, you get to see what the inside of a mental hospital looks like for a minimum of 90 days! And, monitor these goofy bastids religiously!

Why has no one ask if the school doors were locked, so no one could just walk in during the school day.
