There are lots of wonderful makers out there.

My preference is Beltman. The options are broad and the workmanship is excellent.

I'm using a Kore Essentials "trackline" to carry a Cmdr-size 1911 but only since Christmas. I like it so far. 1.25" wide. 1/4" adjustment. https://www.koreessentials.com/collections/gun-belts
i just discovered those a few days ago, seem to be well-liked.

one of my biggest gripes is finding the right belt adjustment, especially while carrying. I have a dressy no-name trackline belt and it works well for that.

I plan to get a couple of these

I tried one of Hanks Amish Belts. Not too bad for a while, but it began to sag after a year. Ordered one from The Beltman. I could tell right away it is a much stiffer belt. Eliminated the sag. Haven't had it long enough to attest to it's durability, but I think it's going to be pretty good.

So check out Beltman and also Big Foot Belts.

Nice I like that last belt...maybe I'm not to chubby to carry appendix..lol

One does not "have" to carry appendix using this product, and if some feel pointing a loaded firearm at their "privates" is a kosher thing to do, well then that's their own business. Lord knows Frank ain't no-one whose carry method I'd scoff at - it just ain't mine.

My carry mode was dictated long ago by my choice to ride leg-breakers ever day, and I use Frank's products (this one I own several of, as his products just plain work) for my cross-draw carry mode, which places my pistol where it's best for "me", (which will never include having a firearm pointed at any part of my anatomy, not even in the most common strong side - but the stiff parts of Frank's B.E.L.T. here supports "all" modes along with AR mags).

ps - my normal load now days consists of a G26 or the G19, 2 spare G17 mags and a Streamlight Pro-Tac 1L, plus a few items in the hidden pocket, but there is room for other things too and one of mine is 2 years old and shows no significant wear or degradation.

I go with a leather belt containing a steel insert. Bigfoot makes an excellent one, as well as Warbird.

They do a fantastic job of keeping the holster tight to the body, and make for an easy draw. They last as well.

I use A&G custom gun leather out of Georgia for years. My most recent (a couple of years ago) was from A Better Belt from here in Texas. Plenty of options with A Better Belt and I like dealing with Texas companies when I can.

I wear the 5.11 Trainer belt. I'm retired and don't have to worry about looks. If I were worried about looks I'd use the CrossBreed Executive belt.

I carry a LW Commander along with a spare mag in a holder, a spare mag in a pocket, knife, wallet and phone. My belt has to hold all that up because like a lot of old farts I have no hips.

I wear Comp-Tac’s leather belt with a stiff insert and silver buckle. It works for jeans or nice pants or shooting competition for me. Had it one year now and I like it. Got it during an Easter sale.
