That's why I avoid ordering from Amazon of Fridays. Amazon will try to deliver it on Sunday. That hasn't always worked out well for me. It is not the same delivery person that brings our mail the other 6 days of the week. I don't know where the Sunday person was leaving the packages, but it wasn't always at our house. Amazon did make it right though.
They also have an Uber-like system in many cities, including Dallas, called Flex. Regular people in regular cars are assigned blocks, then given packages to deliver.

Friday morning my Chinese photo equipment seller on ebay refunded my money on some lights I need this Monday. Said he was having quality issues. Ordered the same items on Amazon within minutes. Paid an extra $11 in shipping. (already have Prime) Had the lights at the door before noon on Saturday (today). Twice the total cost over ebay but they delivered.
Now Amazon is being pressured to drop NRA programing on Amazon video. If Amazon caves I will cancel my membership at Amazon. I have a business relationship with Amazon. If they choose to make it political. I don't need them. I will order from China sooner if my American company can't do business dealings fairly with me and people like me..
