I think this is a case of the broken clock being right twice a day... He might be self delusional, but my opinion is that video of his posted earlier is pretty grounded in reality.

Oh, I liked some of his videos. I found them myself before this. Was just struck by the depth of the Internet drama surrounding his person.

If you're looking for confirmation of what the future looks like, California is the test case... watch what's happening there- after they are successful with a plan there, they move it to other liberal states... and eventually nationally.
Doesn't matter to them. Conflation works towards their purpose. Why do you think they keep calling ARs "assault rifles", despite there being a specific definition of what an assault rifle is? Then, they muddy the waters even further by using a nebulous term "assault weapon" which means whatever they want it to mean. If you try to explain that definitions matter, they tend to get upset and call you a rifle humping ammosexual who wants to see dead children.
One of the ideas I've heard being tossed around, apart from heavily regulating and taxing the shit out of ammo and reloading supplies, is to put ARs on the same schedule as SBRs and suppressors. Sure, you can have your evil black rifle after 6 months of paperwork, a colonoscopy, and that $200 tax stamp because we want to punish every gun owner for the acts of some mentally ill people. And they'll call this a compromise since they're not screaming for an outright ban.
While I agree the AR15 is not an AW, the original AWB listed it is such, along with many others, and the name stuck. Incorrectly, IMO, but it stuck, for better or for worse. Worse in my opinion, which is why I will say once again, words matter. Once a word or term gets in the comman usage you will never get it out, no matter how wrong it is.

I know a lot of LEO's in Texas. Most laugh at the idea of going house-to-house on a gun grab! They're not going to do it!
Among our male residents, are well trained former soldiers who took an oath to defend against all who trash our lifestyles whether they be foreign or domestic.
Then we have the old farts who don't give a shxt and would welcome the opportunity to check out while defending the US Constitution and Bill of Rights.
Our women are trained and proficient marksmen. Friend Bonnie is a High Master 200 yard rifle competitor. At 200 yards, she could shoot a fly off of your nose! Friend Karen favors her 45-70 lever action rifle. Both ladies carry pistols every day. I do, too.
Today, I'm going to hang out at the local gun shop and catch up on the latest news. THAT's what I'm going to do about all of this! They have a sale on AR-15 rifles. Hell, maybe I'll get another one!

Good advice! We are going on a short cruise next week. Will need to have a talk with the husband about enjoying our time and not trying to talk/argue guns with anyone while trapped on a boat with sheeple. Wish me luck. Hope we can enjoy and relax.

First of all I did not read this entire thread. If the government ever wants to confiscate our guns it wont be our people who do it. They will hire people who are not local and try to have the local LEOs out of town on training.
By the way I too sell every single gun i buy the next day.... I would not want the government thinking I was a constitutional, liberty loving armed citizen.
