Good to know. I am more or less pissed that the companies are folding to commies. I am a member of the NRA but it is about to lapse

Mine expires in May. Not sure what to do. Throwing bump stocks under bus after Vegas sucked. The shanagans the BOD employ to keep out people they do not want is annoying. Been a voting member with nothing to show for it. I will see what happens at Meeting in May and decide.

I do not like the boycotting of NRA, but am mixed on how to respond. It seems we are in the middle of the biggest civil war the world has ever seen, that does not include shooting each other. If we continually do nothing while they attack, attack, attack everything about us, it will not end well for us.

    Budget dumped NRA yesterday.

It seems like every rental car company has kicked NRA out, so there are no choices. How nice it would be if NRA has 50 million members, but NRA itself is the #1 reason that will not happen. While I am NRA right now, I fault nobody who chooses not to join. I understand.

The NRA is not perfect (but then who is?), but it is the most influential organization trying to protect our 2A rights. Don't know that there is any other organization with the NRA's influence. Again, they are not perfect. But the vast majority of what they do is good for 2A rights.

Agree but they do have a big problem convincing gun owners to join.

I quit joining years ago because I couldn't get them to stop badgering me for money continuously.
So very true, before my membership ran out I was getting calls every day about donations, even when I had donated already the day before, I was getting very annoyed.

Taking a few minutes and creating a throwaway email address and giving the phone number to a Democrat Congressman will cut any spam/calls out of your life.
The junk mail is just tossed with the other crap that comes in the mail, not sure why an NRA mailing would piss anyone off then all the other shit that people get in the mail unsolicited.

You implied it with your statement. There is a big difference in letting them think they could and actually getting it done. So no they haven't been thrown under the bus, yet.

No I did not. I said they threw bump stocks under the bus, which is what they did. Guess you missed this:

"The NRA believes that devices designed to allow semi-automatic rifles to function like fully-automatic rifles should be subject to additional regulations."

That is called "throwing them under the bus".

There is a limit to how far I'll carry a boycott based upon Liberal behavior. In the case of these car rental companies, it makes sense. The friend of my enemy is my enemy.

When it comes to actors and movies, I don't give a flip. Actors make money by pretending to be someone else. They aren't real nor does anything they say mean ANYTHING to me. They have no original thoughts. Why boycott a ghost?

There are some exceptions like Jim Carrey and Amy Schumer. I detest those people and will boycott all of their "work."

So, if the device in question does not allow semi-automatic rifles to function like fully automatic rifles then the NRA believes it should NOT be subject to additional regulations, no?
