Well - Here's some info that may or may not be handy. I bought a Lyman universal trimmer with a carbide cutter a while ago. It came with a steel cutter, so I started using it. I think I've trimmed around 2000 rounds of .223 & 6.5 Grendel with it. I was trimming some more .223 today and the case length was inconsistent, the mouths of the cases were mushing in - etc. Put the carbide cutter in it - perfection.

found a couple of cases with what looked like splits. So, I took a dremel to one.
Gotta look close but you can see it on the inside. Barely more than a disruption in the carbon fouling.

Pony up for the Giraud Tri-Way

About $100, but it trims, debur and chamfer the cartridge all in one step.

The next best thing for high volume trimming is the Worlds Finest Trimmer. They just trim, but do a spectacular job of it.

If money is not an object look at the Giraud power trimmer, or the Dillon.

I process 223 by the 5 gallon bucket full.

I use the Giraud case annealer and love it. It's nice to finally hear someone that has used the Triway Trimmer. I am one of those who is pretty particular about the deburr and chamfer. Does the Giraud Triway Trimmer give good clean consistent results? Mainly interested in 5.56 and .308 calibers.

    Yes it does, however....

It does require some patience to set it up to get the results you want. The smallest adjustments can make a big difference. Take your time, and have a piece or two of brass to sacrifice for set up.

I’ve been really happy. I have the 223 size now, and I plan to add a couple of the 308 ones to my collection, I’ll set one up for 7mm-08 and the other for 308.

I like targets like this one. Makes it easy to figure out group size. 200 yd load development. What caliber?
I wasnt worried about exact group size. Its an cheap 300 BLK Pistol with a 7.5" barrel and a cheap red dot. Im actually pleasantly suprised it grouped that well at 50 yds. When I built it, I was looking for cheap and durable l, not crazy accuracy. Its going to live in the truck or SXS anyway.

Cranked out 500 pieces of 9mm, with 124gn projectile

This Dillon’s a ball to run. I cranked it all out in a little over an hour.

Getting ready for Spring Break with the pet kid. We’re going to spend a few days at the Farm goofing off, and getting some chores done.

I don't know why they charge so much for brass catchers. These are cheap at Walmart.

....Something is a little fishy about that setup...

Me, too. Except mine was 351 nickel 9s with 124gr HSTs. And I was using a Lee slo1000... And my bench looks like my garage flooded Friday morning and there's shit piled all over it... and I ran out of nickel brass after 351 rounds... but they looked ok!

First production run with the new powder. Got to the range today and blasted off a couple test mags in my carry pistol and all felt fine. I really need a chronograph I guess.

Anyone here ever made a chronograph? I saw a homemade one a while back and bought stuff to try it when radio shack went out of business but haven't done it yet.
