    IMO, they're right.
    Hunting is dying. Slowly. It is definitely fading.
    Simple really. Many have just been priced out of the sport.

    And then you have the landowners that just became mega rich from the Eagle Ford. When their leases are up for renewal they’re not being renewed. They don’t need the money now and don’t wish for the headaches and liability.

    I heard the same thing on NPR this morning. Maybe pictures of starving deer dying will spur on some left wingers. Doubt it.

    Hunting sacrifices the few, for the many.

    Without the money made from international big-game hunters, the parks close and poachers move in. But it’s not just animals that are poached, plants are, too, leaving a barren wasteland.
