Next you'll have him changing the trigger, since there are so many triggers better than the standard mil spec trigger.

That's gonna be a no for me, dawg. Shot it some today, and I have no complaints about the trigger. Nor about the stock or grip. Milsurp handle got dialed in, need to play with the front sight some more.

Sounds good. I reload so much ammo for what I usually shoot that when we go to a range day, I try to get some factory stuff. I don't expect (as well you should) for anybody to shoot anybody else's reloads.
I mean if you are giving away .223 hand loads for me to shoot at the meetup, I am all for it. I shot some of your .44 mag loads at the last one and there were no issues

Alright then. I've got a shit pile of .223's with the 55g Hornady boat tail bullets. Great plinking round. Pretty much impossible to overcharge with CFE223. I'll bring some baggies full of them. (damn, now I sound like a dealer)

Until you shoot one that has no take up and about a 3# pull. That's one of the reasons my build went from $1K to $1500.

I've put my wife's 10/22 at 4 pounds and that's as low as I would wanna go with anything. The factory trigger feels clean, steady and straight, no grating, not too heavy. Maybe six, seven pounds? Didn't hear a complaint from the wife either.

Round count might be at around 40 by now.

I would worry more about an undercharge than an overcharge.

No, only if you were selling, you're a pusher.

Why? The worst thing that can happen is a squib which is pretty obvious. It wouldn't cycle a semi auto - which should throw up red flags, and it would feel really funky out of a bolt gun. Besides, I load all of my rifle rounds on a single stage and weigh every charge.
