Nice!Salado is having their wine thingy. Where you pay $15 for 8 tastings. Each tasting is a 1/4 glass. So 8 would be two complete glasses of wine.
You read and hear about watermelon, blackberry and peach wine. You'd think it'd taste like koolaid with alcohol. Nah, it's the real thing, Texas wine in Salado. After you go through the all the tents and stands. You're fairly lit up. They have cases of wine you can buy after tastings.
12-5pm today. 12-4pm tomorrow.

No slow for me.I like driving slow. I'm like "yea - my truck looks good. Why don't I drive slow so you can check it out." But then I also like driving fast. Like "Yea, your doors just got blown off by a good looking truck!"

There's a red wine I drink called ChocolatEnded up buying two bottles of wine. Even though I'm not a wine person. One is a honey mead, blackberry. Another a plum wine. Tastes like ripe purple plums all the way through. One vendor had a chocolate wine that was sold out quick. It wasn't brown like chocolate milk. It looked like regular wine but had strong overtones of chocolate. Stronger flavor then chocolate itself. Definitely not my thing but the women were flocking to buy it. Saw one woman buy a case of different wines. Average price per bottle was about $20.
Nobody had watermelon. Peach, blackberry, plum, raspberry, and honey...yes.
By 3pm, all the woman were lit up. Giggling and having fun. Not too many could walk a straight line. Some family handed me an extra 10 tickets. That two and half glasses of wine more.
Overall a nice event.
