Yes. Its a bit North of downtown. A general area, just South of Highland Park. Yuppie / Hipster central, and lots of money down there.

its actually an indoor range. if you're keen on outdoor ranges theres a few next door in cooke county. or even some in denton county (as well as indoor ranges)

Here’s a close outdoor range. I went once, no complaints. Probably going in the next few days to sight my .22s in.

No steel though.

Elm FOrk is a great range. I usually go there to shoot sporting clays. Golf with a shotgun.

Eagle in Lewisville is nice; they just opened one in Addison South of beltline on Midway but have not been there yet. Really like Elm Fork for outside shooting.

While a big fan of asian food in general, I would have expected you Cali expats to celebrate his first taste of freedom with Texas barbeque or TexMex...
