DEERFIELD, Ill.—This affluent suburb north of Chicago hasn’t had a murder in over a decade. This month, it passed one of the toughest gun-control laws in the country.

Oldag, you may not want to post entire articles and leave out links to original material. Mods can correct me if im wrong but I believe TGT could catch hell for copyright issues.

Could be wrong (wouldn't be the first time today), but I don't think this is an issue for a forum when it is attributed.

At least Wall Street journal is credited.
    I see no plagiarism.

It's not plagiarism rather using material without permission. Technically any material no matter how short it is would fall under this but I believe publishers are happy to share a bit as long as you are giving the reader a link to their site.(clicks=$$)
I also remember sometime ago being told here to never post full article, just a snippet and always with link. If the rules have change that's fine, however I will mention that I've seen the same rule in effect on other boards as well, generally after they receive a demand to takedown the copy written material and a threat of further action.

    Sounds like good advice.
