Looking for some input on the S&W PC Model 327 TRR8 .357 revolver. I'm liking the 8 shot capacity and the light weight of the scandium frame. Ease of mounting a red dot or optic are another plus. Draw back is the price. Anybody have or shoot one?

I don't really have experience with the 327 TRR8, but I do own the Performance Center Pro Series 686 Plus which is also a .357 magnum. I would imagine the action is much the same, which is a delight and as smooth as butter. The Hogue grip looks much the same and fits and feels great in my hand.

I would suggest trying to find it in a store and hold it and check it out as I did with what I bought. I then searched internet for the best deal.

Thanks easy, took your advice. Found one in a shop and got a chance to check it out, very nice piece. Hope it shoots as well as it feels.

I had one and it was a great revolver.

Load it single or use supplied moonclips. Moonclips are easy to load with your bare hands.

Adjustable rear sight and gold bead front. Very nice arrangement.

Rails for scope and light. Odd on a revolver but handy.

PC action so it is nice.

    8 shots is cool.

I like the blacked out look too.

Thanks Dawico, that post was the one that got me interested in this model. Unfortunately he sold it before I had made a decision. Snooze and ya lose!
