Did you buy it as an HP mold or have it converted? Was thinking about getting one of mine converted but don't really know where to get it done yet.

Crap. I just won a Lee load master in another raffle. I need to quit buying into these. I'm running out of room. Maybe I'll see if I can get a credit towards the rpr instead...

Casting coating and sizing bullets the past couple of days. The first picture is of H&G #68 bullets with powder coating. Second pic is of the RCBS 201 SWC, and the third picture is of my new NOE 130 gr 9mm hollow point mold, both powder coated and Hi-Tek.

I haven't powder coated any bullets in a coon's age so I decided to do a few. I've got another ~500 of the 9mm bullets to do and another 300 of the RCBS. I've got a bunch of the H&G bullets cast up. I actually prefer the RCBS for some reason. That sucks in a way as the H&G mold is a four cavity and the RCBS is a two.

The 9mm is my first four cavity HP mold and now I'm kicking myself because my other four hollow point molds are only two cavity.

Been doing the same in 380 and 9mm. My powder coat is never perfect though because im too lazy to take the time to stand all my bullets up after i shake them. I just dump them in a screen mesh i bent up to hold them. Ive never been as concerned because they're just plinking loads.

I did get 3 new powders from the guy over on the cast boolits forum. This is the jet black. I also got light blue and an orange brown.

Maybe ill try standing them up and seeing how they do.

Couple questions. I've never cast my own bullets. Does powder coating help prevent or cause more fouling in the barrel? Does it affect the ballistics at all?

Resized a bunch of brass (different caliber) and washed it.

Getting it out of the dryer now

That’s my timer switch, I just put it together. Now, I don’t have to be sitting by, to turn it off. Set it for 30 minutes, dripping wet brass is fully dry.

Mods, move or delete if you want; I'm just posting info.

Midsouth Shooters Supply has $5 hazmat when four boxes of Fiocchi primers are bought. I like them and plan to grab some.

Really like your loading trays. Did you machine those yourself. Looks like something I could make on my CC mill pretty easy.

I wish, if you could make them I'd like some more. Got them from CNCShooter.net but he no longer works at a machine shop so you can't get them anymore. There is a company in Tyler, Tx longrangeaccuracy.net I'd like to support but they're trays aren't as refined in my opinion. I've got 1 300blk and 1 458 socom tray as well.
