They're laying out the rap sheet. Throwing in an expired weapons permit. 59 years old. As reported by MSN. Is this going to be another Las Vegas?

In my early days as a LEO, one thing we knew and so did the bad guys. You did not KILL a LEO, if you did, every LEO in America knew it, was looking for you and the chances of seeing the inside of a jail were slim.

Several years back when a BCSO deputy was shot and killed at a red light in his patrol vehicle, my SAPD contacts said numerous local gangs were calling them to ensure the police knew they had nothing to do with it.

The victim, Sgt. Kenneth Vann, was shot 26 times with a Smith & Wesson M&P AR-15.

Mark Anthony Gonzalez was later sentenced to death for the killing, turned out it was a random crime of opportunity with no known motive but he had been drinking and taking antidepressants before the shooting and later told the friend he did it. Gonzalez had no gang affiliations.

Regardless, in my opinion the state cannot carry out his execution fast enough!

While we may never know why the coward Highnote did what he did, but this is just as plausible as any other theory and is a major issue in this country that needs to be reversed..

Sheriff Bobby Schultz blamed the deaths of Sgt. Noel Ramirez and Deputy Taylor Lindsey on hatred toward LE

TRENTON, Fla. — Investigators in Florida say they may never know why a man - a recluse from a rural farm community who rarely ventured into town - killed two sheriff's deputies while they sat in a Chinese restaurant.

John Hubert Highnote, 58, of Bell casually walked into the restaurant, went up to the Gilchrest County deputies and fired at them. He then went into his car and killed himself.

Gilchrest County Sheriff Bobby Schultz blamed the deaths of Sgt. Noel Ramirez, 30, and Deputy Taylor Lindsey, 25, on hatred toward law enforcement.

"What do you expect happens when you demonize law enforcement to the extent it's been demonized? Every type of hate, every type of put-down you can think of," Schultz said at a news conference.

"The only thing these men were guilty of is wanting to protect you and me. They just wanted to get something to eat, and they just wanted to do their job," he said.
