So, are they scope friendly?
True, no rail on this version so you would need a claw mount.
I do have an HK claw mount and rail section for it and it was pretty steady when I put it on, though I have yet to actually put a scope on it. MTA keeps distracting me with 30% off sales.
I have a claw and rail floating around somewhere. I would rather have one of the models with the rail mounted on the receiver, but they are significantly more money.
ETA: I just went back to the website and searched for other models. The GI version with the rail is only $919.00.

Unfortunately my eyes are not good enough for open sighs at much distance.
True, and the iron sites on it probably would help with that. Not really crazy about them myself.

Just keep in mind, Atlantic charges $30 to ship. I normally wouldn't mention that, but it is a bit more then others. However IMO, that $30 is worth it for Atlantic. I believe they give a once over on many of their guns and IF there was a problem, they are the kind of company you want to deal with.

It's up to 5% for Academy (Could be more or less for other vendors.. I see Cabelas and even Sportsman's Guide) cash back every 90 days. You can have them mail you a check or use a paypal account. They send you a summary of each purchase a day or two after you purchase.
DAMMIT!! I can't say I'm surprised though.
