    I don't think that's a big enough stack o cash to be 3 million?
One U.S. bill is officially, nominally .0043 inches thick. There are 30,000 $100 bills in a stack that equals $3M.

    30K x .0043" = 129"

There are 7 stacks in that case and, compared to the size of the people shown in the pictures, each stack looks to be well over 3 feet tall, closer to 4 feet.

A perfect stack of new, compressed $100 bills would only have to be 12 and 3/4 feet tall to equal $3M. There's at least 20 feet of bills there, which is logical since they're probably not all new, some are crinkled, some have absorbed moisture, etc. All those factors mean that the average thickness of the bills in circulation and in that case would be a bit over the nominal .0043".

    tl;dr - Looks like $3M to me.

Depends on the denomination. Binion's Horseshoe in Vegas, not sure if it still does have it, had a stack of $1,000 bills showing $1,000,000, that if I remember right, were about a third that size.

When I saw it back in the '70s it was 100 $10,000 bills sandwiched between 2 pieces of glass.

The government printed $10,000 and $100,000 bills for inter-government use and it was never supposed to be released for public use. I don't know how Ben got his hands on it.

I seem to remember it in stacks of $1,000 bills, I could be wrong, it was a long time ago, and it was also bullet proof glass. I asked.
