I remember when I thought getting one would scratch that itch. Then I obsessed about reloading for it with a huge variety of projectiles, and now I want a BFR in 45-70.

I bought my first 308. I've always been a 30-06 kid but couldn't pass this one up. I haven't threaded the barrel yet but will to run my suppressor.

Nice buy. My brother has one and it's super accurate plus the recoil is very light.

I have shot my cousins. His has a 16" barrel and is indeed accurate. This barrel is 20" I'm thinking of taking it to 18" plus threading.

Had a busy day today as I had Austin Vinyl Day and then to run to my mom's house in Jarrell to fix some things and from there run up to Belton for the gun show.

I took 3 guns with me and sold 2.

Was on the lookout for a SP1 and the last table (I always start right at gun shows and work my way up and down the aisles to the left) and I spotted it from about 50 feet away. I picked it up and motioned to the seller if I can pic it up.

He said go ahead. It was an SP1 with an original Colt scope. It was clean. Price was listed at $1299 (I was going to buy it at that price) but asked seller give me your best out the door price out the door with cash.

He said $1100 and I said deal.

I felt like a kid on Christmas morning.

Made good trades this weekend. Paid 450 for a czp09 a year ago and scored a 1993 mini14 for it. I wasn't happy with my scorpion pistol but it's all the tacticool rage you know. Found a guy who offered his gp100 low round count with 250 cash and payed my transfer fee. I'm excited about the mini. Yeah yeah I have a butt load of ar15's, but the mini brings back memories of my younger days.
