I hope to keep my Titan that long. Man, the gravity seats that thing has does wonders on my bad back. I'd almost like to go out, buy a set and make them into living room seats. I don't think I've ever sat in a more comfortable seat than the new Titans. I know most of their newer lineups have them these days too.

The frontier has those gravity seats in them too - or so I was told. Then again, that same salesman told me this truck is front wheel drive which improves the handling, and it has positrac, it has 360° safety sensors.

Yknow, come to think of it....I now doubt the gravity seat claim. They ARE nice though! Great lumbar support.

Come sit in my Titan and compare to your Frontier. Best seats ever. I know the seats are going to be different sizes but the overall spring placement and cushioning should be similar.

    You going to the meet??

The frontier does run the same frame as the Titan which has some Frontier owners swapping out the front suspension for a Titan suspension. They call it a "Titan Swap". I'm good with mine. I'm still not exactly sure WHY they do it.

Any of you guys use the spare gas "cans" that kinda look like water bottles? I've been thinking about picking up an MSR branded bottle for a trip down to Austin. Are they any good, and should I pay $50 for a bottle and holster? I might just skip the bag and toss it in my backpack. I know a full tank an 1 or even 2 bottles wouldn't get me from Dallas to Austin, but just as an emergency spare bit of fuel if for whatever reason I'm not paying attention to my gas light.

    Something like this:

$50 bucks for a water bottle that's been labeled for fuel? That'd be a Hades no. I35 from Dallas to Laredo has a couple hundred truck stops plus all of the gas stations. I wouldn't want a warm, vapor'ery bottle of gasoline riding in a back pack.

But you're okay with a gas tank under your ass or in your crotch?

Its $20ish for the bottle, and about $30 for the nylon bag to strap it to the bike. Its why I might be alright just tossing it in my backpack, or seat bag. But, theres also the motorcycle tax; any accessory or part associated with a motorcycle is priced ludicrously high. I simply wouldn't mind having a little gas at home because reasons.

I hate that the price of gas containers is over $20, but I'm confident its because of the EPA and safety certifications the companies must to before selling a single can. It shouldn't cost $25 for a plastic milk jug because its red and "designed" to dispense fuel, and to double its capacity its only $5 more.
