Won't sell much on here with your requisites.
I won't lose sleep over it. :) I came here to talk guns, share knowledge and to be respectful as possible. What I gave was just my opinion. One of feeling like I have a lot of responsibility legally if I sell to the wrong person. I'm fine with your opinion. I'm sure once I get to know people here a sale or trade with no paper work will happen I'm sure. If my standards are too high I'd prefer to keep it at "have a nice day, sir" and be civil. I'm a really nice guy, once you get to know me.

Fair enough. To each his own. If a paper trail leads to you then do what you fell comfortable with. If I buy from a dealer there is a trail to me. If I sell it it's sold or as is common knowledge on here, I'm a terrible boater and lost it in lake whodathoughtit. Trail ends. If I buy from an individual there is no trail.

Some of the knowledge we have shared here over the years is all of the folks who have gotten jammed up by asking for a Bill Of Sale, Paper Trail, etc. In all of these cases, the Bill of Sale, Paper Trail, etc., was used as evidence against them. We cannot find a single instance of a person who made an anonymous sale getting jacked up.

So this is why you are seeing the responses you are seeing.

That's interesting to say the least.

When you post a for sale ad be sure to mention your requirements to complete said sale. This will save some of us a trip just to come home empty handed.

We constantly have to push back against firearm registration from the government. Many of us sure won't willingly allow it from another citizen.

You have the right to ask whatever you want but just be sure to let buyers know ahead of time.

Late reply...as I wasn't sure if I should respond or not. I will though cause I feel the need to clear the air. I will never support gun control as I think I made that clear in my post. I don't care what others do with their property. I do however have a problem if someone doesn't like a lawful choice I'm making or how I decide to handle selling my property. What I should have said from the start is if someone gives me red flags they aren't getting my gun. You know what I hate just as much as gun grabbers? People who do drugs. People who are in gangs. Who steal. If someone wants to buy a gun off me or let alone meet me, they better at least act like they have their life together. My choice on who I allow to meet me and buy from me, is not gun control. It's me just being a grumpy dick.

    Sorry...had to vent. Lol

But you came across as wanting all the information from the buyer, ain't happening to this buyer.
