I definitely OC when filling up at any gas stations.

Now, I have zero problems with bums with hard luck stories walking up to me and/or potential criminals while I'm stuck in one place for a bit.

    Otherwise, I mostly CC.

But, either way in Texas it's your choice.

Within D/FW: concealed OWB. Outside: don't care if shirt rides up, same OWB holster. Damn those Azula holsters are really damn nice, and very reasonably priced.

    Kar98,

Thanks for the Azula holster heads up.

I just looked at the OWB holsters they sell.

I want one and for about half what you pay for the same quality elsewhere they are a bargain.

See, this is where I consider the possible benefits of OC as transmitting that “this chick is not to be fucked with.”

Might be at a disadvantage if someone thinks they can get the jump on me and take my gun from me. I really doubt someone would be willing to take that chance on a random encounter on the street unless I encounter a gang of thugs; unlikely where I stroll.

However, I’ve gotten to a point where I can CC effectively and feel good about how I look doing it (finally!), so it’s a bit of a moot point.

I think the deterrence of OC'ing far outweighs the risk of someone trying to take your firearm away. Most criminals want easy victims, and obvious signs that you are ready and able to defend yourself most likely will send them on to easier prey.

Everyone, please take a deep breath and remember that "O.C." & "C.C." are NOT mutually exclusive.

Actually, since you can only do one of those at a time, they would be mutually exclusive! :clown:

In logic and probability theory, two events (or propositions) are mutually exclusive or disjoint if they cannot both occur (be true). A clear example is the set of outcomes of a single coin toss, which can result in either heads or tails, but not both.
