It says "imported", that said a lot of knife makers hare importing them from China or other countries. Reviews are favorable with 131 and 4 ½ stars. The seller says its the real deal Ka Bar.

The design is a tried and proven, are their better designs out there, sure, but you cannot go wrong with this knife for all around use. If you have a specific requirement you might want to look at others, but day in day out, it old school but that ain't bad!

From what I have seen, the imported ones are not too bad. If you want one you can hand down, get a USA made Kbar. They last. Either shorty or full size.

My Pop had one He carried in Nam. Got it from a Korea vet. He got it from a WWII vet. My son , who is named after Pop and his best friend, now has it. Properly sharpend, it will take a hand off.

I have two full size, one is a Jeep knife the other is from my last active duty squadron, it stays on my desk. Both are leather handles.

Been eyeing then shorter one with kydex sheath and black handle, just haven't bought one.

I highly recommend the U.S. made ones.

coming from CA, I'm a huge SOA fan, which makes me want to carry a ka bar. I just don't think I have the balls to do it...

The nylon handles are more practical, but the leather ones are too good looking to pass up...

Hell No if it's made in China. Disgusting they farmed an classic American knife off to communist slave labor. I'm out on their junk.

You're limiting yourself. Buy an automatic dagger. The ka-bar on a belt will tear your car seat up. Wait and see. There's lots of neat stuff here.

My brother gave me what I think is a KBar. It's a Navy pilot survival knife. But looks like a KBar.

He got it for me when he was on the Enterprise.
