    Been coming down here .
    Big crash of thunder and had a power blip a few minutes ago, TVs and everything clicked off.

    Cam and I live close to each other and I got the same - lots of rain and a power blip or two. I also got a lightning strike behind my garage that didn't do much except wink out the power to the house. Only a really vulnerable and/or crappy electronic device would have been hurt.

    And one was. The ethernet connection to my TIVO failed at that moment. It couldn't have been a coincidence.

    I'll hook up some diagnostic equipment tomorrow and figure out if I've got a cabling issue or a port issue. But why couldn't it have been the toaster? :(
