Just curious I took it on a trade. PSA gen 2 upper and lower Magpul furniture it has the stainless 18” barrel 15” free flat key mod and an athlon 6x18 illuminated scope. Looks brand new guy said he shot exactly 40 rounds through it.
Their kit is in the 300 dollar range.
Bout another 40 bucks to bump to an 18 inch barrel
Bout another 40 bucks for MOE furniture
PSA/ANDERSON lower? 40ish bucks EDIT: Ahhh yea...PSA lower....
Aero/Spikes lower? 100ish bucks
Noveske/Seekins lower? 200ish bucks
Mags 10ish bucks ea.
To you, I would imagine it was worth what you traded it for, it's subjective at times. You didn't really say what rifle it is.
Several months ago I built a 300BO and spent close to $1500, it was worth it to me, but I'm not sure I could sell it for that price.
I traded a bunch of old magazine and stripper clips for it that I didn’t have 500 bucks in it I’m just unfamiliar with PSA I’ve heard they are junk and not worth much
I recently put a PSA complete upper on an aeroprecision lower
Upper, with NiBoron BCG, CH, stainless 16” mid-length, 13” free float handguard, and MagPul BUIS was $300 or so. 100yds with a red dot will hold 2.5” groups all day long.
Their lowers are $40.
I wouldn’t call there products junk, but they hit a price point and target the assembler crowd. It won’t be the most accurate shooter in your stable, but it should function just fine.
I’d say there’s about $400 trade value in the rifle you’ve got; I know nothing about the optic, but they’ll usually have a good optic in the $125 range.
Well I traded it for a mint Kimel AP 9 with original soft case and 2 mags paper wort etc. And a Glock 19 gen 3 in FDE so I feel like I got a fair shake
I built a PSA 16" 1:9 slick side with some nice Magpul furniture for about 450 all in, and it shoots 1 MOA at 100 pretty reliably if I feed it right. It'll do 2 MOA or better with Russian steel case. It may not be anything to drool over, but it's fine to have a lot of fun with.
That's the PSA MLok rail which seems to similar to some of the Midwest Industries rails. Also appears to possibly have the PSA enhanced, polished trigger.
Very slim, but possible chance, rifle was as low as $599 with the right saw but was probably a $699 or $799 sale price. Normal price slightly higher but almost everything has been on sale from PSA for the last year and half.
