Anyone seen or get trigger time with one yet? Kinda itchen’ for a new gun and i think this might be it. Its been getting stellar reviews from what i can see and its priced reasonably. Looking for an easy shooter without all the problems of a .22 semiauto.

My dad had a semi auto remington .22LR excellent gun. it's a late 80s model. the first round would alwyas jam after chambering a round so I went online and found th epart that was casuing the issue and bought a new one and took it to a gunsmith and had them fix it. shoots like a champ now :)

Is 911 a new gun now, or just an error?

Second time I've seen it mentioned of it in 2-3 days...
Springfield has gone into the micro-sized .380 bidness & named it 911. Looks like a 1911 but completely different innards. See this months American Rifleman. They (gasp!) like it!

Oh, OK, sorry. On my display, the OP said:

    911 is not a .22.

What i meant was reliability issues with .22 pistols being finicky with ammo. I know the 911 is a .380 but its just about as easy to shoot as a .22
So I finally came across one at TopGun range in Houston. It is very nice, fits my hand well and has a nice crisp trigger. Safety & Slide manipulation , fit & finish are top notch also. Now just need the dinero.

I hadn't seen this thread before searching for it after seeing an ad a few minutes ago for them. I'm intrigued. I'm more personally interested in the EMP but this could be a good choice for some others I know. Might have to make some time for a local shop that has an indoor range.
