Just joined after being back in Texas for about a year. To be honest, I joined trying to find an O-PAP, Saiga, or even a good WASR-10 AKM - but I think I'll probably be around for more than that after looking through some of the different sub forums.

Good to be back in TX after spending 5 years in Seattle

He had said he had just gotten back from living in Seattle, Seattle is my hometown.

I caught that. I grew up in Pflugerville way back when there was nothing but farmland between the two. Used to shoot dove off Gattis School rd after football practice.

Back in the early 70's we took a family vacation to the west coast from Seattle to San Diego. I was in my mid to late teens and brought a pack of cigarettes and some 'strike-on-anything' matches that I snuck into the car. My parents smoked but did NOT approve of us kids smoking.

We went to the 'Space Needle' and the amusement park surrounding the tower.
I did not go up but I did hang around the rides for a while and thought it would be a good time to light up a cigarette.

I pulled out a match and struck it on my shoe and a ride operator saw me and thought that was the coolest thing he'd seen all day.

He told me I could get on his ride for free if I gave him a few matches.

I thought he was joking but told me that they were ILLEGAL in Washington.

I gave him a handful of the matches and I told him I did not need to get on the ride.
He was the happiest guy I ever saw!!!!!!!!!!!

The State has been in the CONTROL business for DECADES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I was glad to get back to TEXAS

Huh? No, you can buy them in Washington. It is funny though.
