How often do you shoot, how many rounds per session?

Just looking to see how often you guys shoot and how much you shoot in one sitting?

First, I stand to shoot so I don't do "sittings".

I shoot every Wednesday (group practice) and every Saturday or Sunday (club matches or practice).

If it's a smallbore match or practice I shoot between 150 and 225 rounds per session.
If it's an air rifle match or practice I shoot between 160 and 200 pellets per session.

Monthly averages:
- about 650-700 rounds of 22LR.
- about 500-600 pellets.

I shoot most Saturdays with my club. If it's the monthly EDC shoot, it might only be 40-50 rounds. If it's 2-gun (carbine & pistol) it's likely around 110-125 and if it's the monthly 3 gun , about 150, give or take.

With my wife and grandson it's not how much do you shoot it's how much did I bring. They love falling plates and 22's. Last time out they went thru 750 rnds in 2 hrs. The 9 yr old grandson went thru 100 rnds shooting a bolt action 22 on a different range. I was the official spotter for him and jam clearer for the other two.

Just me if it's pistol, 2-300 rnds. Rifle usually 40-50.

Usually two/three times a week at a near-by indoor range with handguns.
Once or twice a month at the outdoor range with rifles.
Amount of shooting varies as well.
If shooting .22LR or 9mm handguns, usually 100 or so rounds of each.
Have shot as much as 400+rds in a single sitting doing semi-auto handgun break in.
Always run out of ammo before time is up.

Rifles in .22 or .223 100-200rounds.
Heavier calibers maybe 50-60rds.
Very heavy recoiling stuff maybe 20rds.

Blackpowder guns - Usually run out of time before ammo.LOL

I try to make it to the range once a month. Usually take 2 or 3 handguns and a couple of rifles. Average 60-80 rounds through each rifle and 150-200 total through the handguns.

Whenever I go, it's minimum 2-300 rds of whatever centerfire handgun I happened to bring with me.

ETA: I have a membership to my indoor range, so no time limit generally.

Really depends on what I'm trying to do.

With pistols, usually ~100-200 centerfire pistol rounds and/or ~50-100 .22 rounds.

With rifles, if I'm doing load development maybe 25-50 rounds. If I'm just shooting, 2-3 x that.

Once every couple months if I'm lucky, and only like 50 rounds.

I shoot at my in-laws place, but I don't like seconding myself while everyone else is socializing.

However we've got a shooting visit planned soon, so there'll hopefully be a few hundred fired.

I usually bring 3 pistols with me... 9mm ... about 100 rounds, .22lr 100-200 rounds or 22mag 50-100 rounds & .45 50-100 rounds.

When i go to the outdoor range, i shoot rifles about once a month. I usually take 2 with me.
AR15 ... 100-150 rounds, AK47 ... 100 rounds, .22lr 200-300 in semi auto.
If im shooting bolt guns ... 17 hmr 50 or so, or the new 6.5cm about 20-40

lately 800 rounds per session maybe once a year lol.

lifelong hobby, past couple years I have been buying/trading but not shooting. Once I find some land to shoot on and my almost 9-year old twins get into it, we'll be shooting and fishing nonstop.

Pretty much every weekend at the Farm.

I run a few mags through my CCW.

When I’m working up a new load, I’ll lay on the mat and send a bunch down range.

When my brother comes out, we’ll burn through hundreds of rounds, and shoot all day and night. My wife and daughter will go through a brick each plinking with the 22’s

I still think it’s fun to jump a tin can around the yard with the old Red Ryder. It belonged to my great uncle, and has been passed down. It’s now a learning tool for the 4th generation of shooters.

200-300 for my handgun a weekend about twice a month. I'll shoot only around 60-100 of rifle since my marksmanship with a rifle is significantly better than my handgun.

About 200 rounds in my CCWs. Maybe another 50 to 200 if I take my 22.
