tire pressure reduction mod in the wife's car.

definitely starting to get leery with everything I do on the family car, so I ordered up a whole new set of wheels, tires are only 5 months old. Yay for 22

Brakes in the wife's car. Only took about 8 hours in the heat, including a break just about every 15 seconds, setting up a pop-up gazebo thing, putzing around with the kids, autozone and walmart run (turns out I already had the tool), and very, very slow clean up.

best part was flushing the lines with my new pneumatic brake bleeder. Filled my 21g compressor up 4 or 5 times, but was cool to flush the entire reservoir along with the lines.

New wheels also came in today. They are ghetto-tastic, but they weren't budgeted for so they will work. Criteria was had to have some chrome to match the 2007-Era chrome-fest and had to be 22" to keep our tires.

Woke up the green camaro. I have it listed for sale and it's becoming a huge PIA. I have too many toys and she needs to go away. One more year and it's an official classic...

Did you get the top put on? If so was it a pia? I have a convertible mustang. It needs a new top soon.

No. The work came a halt after needing the triangle piece of heavy pot metal, on both sides. It's the black triangles right behind the door glass sitting on top the body line. They're both corroded. GM still sells them. When I priced them they were around $230 each. Other then that I'd have to buy them used in questionable condition.

Then I bought the black camaro.

Damn near shot the F150 today. Still might. Replaced the pinion seal two weeks ago; followed the tech data, used the right tools, set the preload, indexed it, right torque values, checked the U-Joint while in there, all that crap. Even installed the correct seal per VIN (there’s two different ones for the 8.8 diff).

Sure enough, leaking again. Don’t really want to replace this truck, but thinking it might be time.

I still have to replace a fork seal. You'll get around to doing it. I get sick of having to do it too. It won't stay fixed. I'm going to do mine one more time. I'm going to mic everything. Polish it and stick it back together per the book. It has one more chance to exist in my circle. If it leaks again, it's gOne. I'm done.

Damn Todd. All this talk about a seal. Guess Ill finally get it done. I'll run by the Suzuki dealership and get that freaking seal.

    It's gotta get done....

Put it off for a day. Don’t most dealers still close on Monday’s?

Be glad you don’t have ESA. My multistrada has that and the left fork seal gave out. Trip to the dealer required. Thank god it was under warranty.

Man, I don't remember if the place is open. They can sell cars and trucks one day on the weekend. Either Saturday or Sunday but it can't be both. I'm gonna go to Killeen Motorsports. It's one of them catch all dealerships. Triumph, Suzuki, Honda, Polaris type deal.

If I could Suzuki OEM online, I'd skip the dealer.

When I was riding, most bike shops closed Sunday and Monday.
No idea if good or not, just googled it.

    Cock...

$14 for the seal and a glorious $10 for snail shipping. The part is now on the way. This better f'ing fix it.

If the lower tube is tweaked and is the reason why stuff is leaking...it's a cool $385 bucks.

    Sucker...
