I have had 4 of these Colt Argentine model 1911s in 45 acp and this is the best one I had. This have been my every day carry for the last 9 months.
Going to a Colt govt model 1911 from 1987 for my EDC now.
I added the sticky stipling that can be removed from the front of the grip on trigger guard.
The gun has been parkerized. Buddy and I shot this at Reds on Friday along with 3 other handguns. No issues.
I broke this gun down today and cleaned and lubed it.
Alot of people have colt 1911's but how many have Argentine Colt 1911's.
Frame, slide and barrel all match (81124). Only thing that does not match is the mag.
