Actually it said he lived in a “gated community” Those dang rich farmers LOL
Most people don't live on their business property.
I would expect a potato farmer with a long standing relationship with Lays to have done pretty dang well for himself. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I was thinking that it was a trigger group that fired on the pull and release, or something like that.

Its a "binary trigger". Banned in the PRK along with _ANY_ NFA items including suppressors. bump-stocks were already banned by the PRK long before Las Vegas.

Dude must not have any shooting buddies in KA. Pistol grips are now banned, along with sound suppressors, and mags are limited to ten rounds in handguns, rifles and shotguns. The exception is with tubular magazines, as long as they are stock. .22 rim-fires can have a pistol grip, but if magazine fed, only ten rounds are allowed.

All "black-rifles" must have a "fixed" magazine and the bullet button law is gone.

This man should have been on the forum for CA gun-owners before he put himself
    in jeopardy.

There are very few _REAL_ down to earth farmers in the central valleys of the PRK. Most are "agribusiness" men or women, or a partnership/corporation.

Yes this man likely thought he would skate on these charges, but even a wealthy man like this will likely simply spend lots of money defending himself. If it works out well, he will pay a hefty fine, and will no longer be able to own any firearms. By "working out well", I mean no jail/prison time, as anyone else would get in the PRK.

NFA items haven't been allowed in the PRK since as long as I can remember, and I ain't young anymore. If this man had real suppressors or a full-auto rifle, he wont skate so easily, since the BATF will become involved.

The suppressors have me scratching my head. They've been illegal in Kalifornia for ages. If he bought them out of state then he would have had to notify the BATFE he was transporting them across state lines. Unless he didn't do that either. If that's the case he's a complete idiot.

Like lots of "farmers" here, he might have thought that since his sheriff issued him a permit to carry (since many counties in the PRK do not issue CCW permits, unless you are LE; have lots of money, or are a rich "farmer") he would slide by on the KA DOJ firearms laws, somehow.

Hell, I can see that he has full pistol grips, flash-hiders and 30 rd mags, just by that one pic, meaning that he was not in compliance with current PRK firearms laws.

He should have known better, IMO.

He lives in Kern County, the whole county is pretty much against it. Kern is as close to a Texas mentality as California gets, their sheriff believes in CHL and hands them out without much question, his good cause is for protection.

There are indeed counties where one can slap a 30 round magazine home, but that's
in Nor-Cal. I dont know much about So-Cal, since this state really should be split.

I don’t think you have to notify for suppressors.
They want you to. A suppressor is classified as a firearm and required via form 5320. So...here's the thing though. If you don't will you get in trouble? I can't see how. One, I have been told by an atf employee that they can't really enforce it but if I ask a specialist in the atf, its needed. So I just do it. One thing that's pretty typical with the atf is you get people with wishy washy answers. Because I don't accept anything other than a yes or no, I spoke to a specialist for my move coming up. Very friendly btw. She was willing to just do the form via email so I'm not waiting on snail mail.

Two, at no point does the tax stamp or certified copy change. It always has the old address on it. If you're like me and want more tax stamps down the road imo its a good idea to update your moves with the atf just to be on good standing with them. Otherwise if all you will ever own is one supressor, how can they know? It really isn't enforceable.

I for one am just tired of the hassle. I do want more stamps but man is it all just stupid. Nfa shouldn't be around. The 86 ban shouldn't be around. The gca shouldn't be around. Oh I forgot the best pile of shit. 922r. The one law that no one for the last 2 plus decades hasn't been arrested for and like everything else that needs to go is just a form of revenue. Its not about gun control. Its just control with profits.
