Its amazing to me that anyone would do that to an animal.
Dog owners have a leg up on other humans. We get to experience what its like to have unconditional love.
Leave your wife at home for a couple days while you go fishing with the guys. Come home and you get the cold shoulder, a talking to, or worse.
Come home to your dog, and he goes crazy licking you and jumping around like a moron. All because he is so glad to see you.
