I'll pay more if it's in the box, as it says something about the care the owner took......

I wish I had the original box for my Python, my SAA, my SP89, my Valmet, my S&W 41.....etc!!!!!

I still happen to have my box for a 10/22 I bought years ago. I do not have a box for any of the PSA AR's I have. I can assure you, the PSA's are in no different condition then the Ruger.

Problem is when he bought them and threw away the box they were not classics. Now they are. You never know what firearm of today will be a classic down the road. Kinda like the '57 Chevys. In the 60's they were not worth much.

    You are correct.
The model 10 my father bought me when I was a kid did as well. I think I was 9 or 10.
He bought one for everyone in the family, except he bought a SS model 60 snub for my mom.
    I had forgotten about that.
I still have my mod 10, and my moms mod 60.
I don't recall if the mod 60 has ever been fired.

Cam, you need a Barami Hip Grip on that snub nose. Very comfortable to wear about 4:00 and inexpensive. I've had one for years and it's pretty much what I carry consistently when I leave the house or mow. They may be out of business now but I think some suppliers still have them. Just Google Barami Hip Grip.

    Barami Hip Grip
There's also the Clip Grip from DeSantis.

Cam - You might want to hold both before you make a decision since they feel very different from each other. I don't like the feel of the Barami. The Barami can be much improved (IMO) in feel by adding a Tyler T-grip; it winds up feeling like a thinner Clip Grip. If you prefer the feel of the Barami, you can also get it for K-frames and some Colts, if my memory serves me correctly. I couldn't confirm because their web site is gone which means Charlie is probably right about them going out of business.

There are other options. I don't think they're still in business but there used to be a Lip Grip from a maker named Don Collins. From what I read online, it was the same concept and worked just as well but it was prettier.

Finally, if you like some other grips but also like the whole "Enhanced Mexican Carry" concept, there's always the Clipdraw. They sure make a gun uglier but I suppose they work. I wouldn't know from experience since I've never used one.

PS - I think I've got an old J-frame Clip Grip in a box somewhere. You're welcome to it if I can find it. Only one problem that may or not bother you is that it's pink. :)

    Thanks guys.
I have a plastic pocket holster for the m60, and sometimes have it on me around the house. I carried the m10 when I worked security over 35 years ago.
I don't CC either one of these though.

Don't know how it is today, but most if not all S&W revolvers used to come in blue S&W logo cardboard boxes. My gen 1 Shields came in them.

Yep. I kept the box for my S&W 422, my first pistol I bought.
