i have the cylinder just was not available for pictureUh, how do you know its a 4 shot if the cylinder is missing?
on the top of frame it say 30 cal carbinePaki made?
Positve it is for a .30 US Carbine and not something like a .30 Mauser or 7.62 Tok?
Remember it, loved it, only shot one a few times at a gun club in Uvalde. It was owned by a fellow competitive shooter.Y'all remember the Ruger Hawkeye? .256 Winchester magnum IIRC.
Yes just have not setup a rest to hold it to attach a string to pull the trigger the cylinder is extremely beefy and I know the barrel will handle being a cut off m1 barrelLooking at it thru my eyes I see a home brew. Very simple machining, bbl looks to be cut off the end of a M1 Carbine, rest of gun looks home made by some guy with limited experience based upon the trigger guard, hammer etc.
If you have a .30 cart see if it and bullet will fit in the space allocated for it, where the cyl should be, if you have the cyl does it fit?
Sure I remember the .256 Win Mag.
Wonderful little cartridge. A .25-20 on steroids.
Do you remember the .22 Jet?
Absolutely. I didn't know it was possible for a revolver to truly jam until I shot one of those.Do you remember the .22 Jet?
First thing I would do is tell somebody to HOLD your BEER!Look at all the pin holes in the frame. It would appear the frame was cast. With a machined washer behind the cylinder. There's no indexing arm either. That latch on the bottom of the frame appears to be the cylinder index component. The cylinder has to be turned by hand after each shot(?)...
If you try to shoot that thing. Take a video.
