The listing on my car is getting gritty. People keep asking for pictures. That's it, no questions, just for pics. There's pictures in the ad. I keep telling people I'm not sending pics. If you want to see more of the car. Then we'll set up a time to when you can get off your a$$ and come look at it. I'm not going to play photo booth for internet tire kickers. Which is probably a scam.

I need to buy a burner phone. I don't carry a phone. Evidently I'm going to need one to get rid of this car.

I am still trying to figure out why he didn't list it here.

I'm testing the water on how bad I'm gonna lose money on the car. I'm not 100% committed to getting rid of it. Y'all watched me build it piece by piece and it's state wide.

It needs to go. I can't store it. It's been listed a month and a half total on craigslist. It's a market test. See what's local.

Does it show the mileage somewhere and I missed it?

The ad is the second rendition. If a person wants the mileage this time around. They have to contact me. There's a reason for the price.

I can see why people are asking for pics, the ones you have posted in the ad are kinda small and potato.

Lol, they asked for pictures because when the ad was reposted. It dropped the pics. I had one of those no picture ads going. Oops. Interesting is the part that people get curious and ask for pics. More contact without pictures.

Yep, not much of the interior at all.

It's a convertible sitting outside. The $375 bucks in brand new, double plush carpet was pulled out and stored to prevent rust. The floor pan can be inspected for any nasty stuff. I still have every piece of interior plus some.

There's $12,000 in parts in the car. I'm not putting another dime in it. I've reached my limit. If a few pieces of interior scares the buyer. This isn't the car for them.

I've been offered a bunch of trades. Usually it's a 750cc motorcycle. Yamaha V-star or a Honda Shadow. The same size motorcycle I already got. One guy offered me tractor parts for it. Why?...I have no idea.

my white-as-day wife actually likes her new wheels. They were literally the cheapest set on ebay that had chrome on them. The 07-08 navigators were plastered in chrome and I was afraid non-chrome or all black would look out of place.

Hit a couple light scuffs, and one really, really bad scuff, with the DA. Fair amount of research, got the Harbor Freight 6" DA and fit it with a high quality 5" backing plate and pads. Using Meguair's compound and polish. I don't really know much better, does the job.

rotors always get hit with hi-temp paint to keep the rust off the hub face and edges. Finally invested in some good quality grease (Sil-Glyde) for the caliper slide pins.

Hopefully if we can get our debt under control, she'll get the 2018 model w/ the 3.5EB sometime in 2020.

People don't want to waste their time coming to look at a car they won't want any more than you want your time to be wasted. The ad doesn't really say anything and the pictures are small and blurry, so I'm not surprised people are asking for more. "Rebuilt chassis" without any details makes me think it was totaled or something. Maybe link to the build thread on here for more details?

Sales need a variety of bait. The previous ad had everything you mention. I typed enough to fill the page. The price was also higher. $4500. I let the ad cook. Any hawks on craigslist saw it. They know what it is.

Now take my crummy ad. Low details, blurry pics. Makes you want a better description and lots better pictures. Why am I not showing it off? Well, you have to contact me directly to get the info. I won't send pictures because I want the person to physically see the car. There's an old saying in the car business.

Feel the Wheel, Seal the Deal.

Ill add a few more details. Jiggle the line.

I would think you're not showing it off because it's only a $1500 car.

If it was a 130k mile hatchback v6 with no A.C. Then all day long. You're more then welcome to locate a rust free, 88k original mile, convertible, glass headlight Z28 in the green for $1500. Most were produced in black, red, white hardtop. The convertible was something like a $4000 option. It's a year from classic car and the classic car insurance $.

    Nah, lol

You can't have it for $1500.

 dude I know that! I think you've got it priced to move quick at $3200, but I know the car from your build thread. I'm talking about what people are going to perceive from your ad.

It's craigslist. I think it's against their rules to have a normal ad. I'm guessing 30% of all the ads are scams.

CL is not the right venue for this car. Go to the TGT of the Camaro world.

I'm still trying to work up the guts to actually get rid of it. All it would take is another $2000 bucks in the car to finish it off. I can't put anymore money in it because Ill go nuts again and it'll become a money pit. I'm going to take a serious wash on the car but every dollar I put in it was worth it. My bucket list on going through a 4gen camaro is complete. It's a coming to terms thing to sell it away. It'll probably end up in Mexico.
