Recently rebuilt my 2.2T to a 2.4E and now putting break in miles on her. Enjoying the huge increase in torque.

Got an email of somebody interested in the car. He or she wants to see it in the morning. Ill ask if it was seen on here during our conversation.

If the car doesn't sell tomorrow. It's being listed here and some other places.

I'm still trying to work up the guts to actually get rid of it. All it would take is another $2000 bucks in the car to finish it off. I can't put anymore money in it because Ill go nuts again and it'll become a money pit. I'm going to take a serious wash on the car but every dollar I put in it was worth it. My bucket list on going through a 4gen camaro is complete. It's a coming to terms thing to sell it away. It'll probably end up in Mexico.
I think you are under valued on that car, in fact at $32 is a steal and the price is so low that it makes people wary of it. I would shoot for $ 5k and deal from there...

It won't sell for $5000. You can buy a fox body 5.0 mustang from the early 1990's for that. Not a stock car either. Thousands and thousands in the engine. Most of the mail order hot rod parts.

The camaro won't bring that. I'm working against a negative. The car has an LT1 350. It's the last rendition of the old Chevy 350 v8. The newer 4th gen camaro have a LS1. The LT1 motor is an antique. Not highly desirable but parts are cheap.

The camaro that would bring that money is the SS models. Any of them. Not so much the Z28.

I'm going try for all I can but I have to be realistic on what exactly the car is.

I'm upping the price. A very nice gentleman stopped by but he was looking for the v6. The z28 with 4:11 gears is a bit more over the 100 horsepower 3500 v6 they were putting in these cars. It's an awesome motor just gutless. The LT1 will drag it's a$$.

    Glad you upped the price.

I agree you had it too low. Scary low. Something must be wrong with it low. Scam low.

My buddy tried selling his $5k truck for $3k just to get rid of it. No takers as they figured something has to be wrong or it is a scam.

Relisted at $5k and got $4500.

The world is a strange place.

Yep. First thing he asked if he could see the motor. He went straight to it. I popped the hood and he gets taken back. He knew what he was looking at. That's when he say he's looking for a v6. Ok...

He never asked anything about the option code 'Z28'. Not a single thing. I never pointed it out to him either. It's got a v8... He also had a medical boot on his right foot. He drove up but never asked to drive the car. Told me he foot didn't have any feelings. Numb. Wasn't comfortable about driving it.

But asked if it'd drive to Dallas...

I noticed that on craigslist. If it has a low price. It is a scam. If everyone else has the same motorcycle listed at $5000 and there's an ad that says $1500. Scam. I figured something was wrong with the motor or had been wrecked, no title. I've contacted one of those ads. The phone number was a landline in Arkansas.

I revised the ad and fine tuned the price. Thank you helping me out on the price. I'm done sabotaging myself about selling this car. I can't keep it. After my meeting today, she needs a new home.

Those price guides are way high. You're right in mentioning the LT1 has low resale and low desirability, despite (IMHO) looking better than the LS1's. $5k to $6k in decent condition would be about right, if the top and interior were present and installed. In restored condition you could ask up to maybe $8k on the high end. In it's current condition, even with all the parts you have going with it, you'll take a hit - but I think advertising it at 5'ish is spot on.

If I put a top on it. I'm keeping it. No doubt. Ill have the GF drive it.

The interior as I bought it was complete crap. It was all sun faded. The center console was trash. The arm rest completely broke off. The rest of the console was typical of 1994, cheap plastic. I can't help that. If I install an interior. No to selling it. Ill find room or buy a $300 car cover.

Going through the receipts. I layed down $1450 for the transmission alone. There's 500 miles on it.

Needed a bigger back seat so traded the ATS (nice car with awesome suspension) for a S60 inscription. Toyota of Dallas gave me a great deal. Now I need another key fob for it since dealer just had 1.
