Went to see it last night. True story, 1983. Girl meets guy in Tahiti he is a lone sailor, she crews on boats and travels. Love blossoms.

They set sail and get caught in a Cat 4 hurricane with 140 mph winds. Survival for just over 41 days Adrift at sea in a very broken sail boat.

The movie, story, was great, this will have you talking about and wondering. NOTE Very authentic, I used to sail and was looking for telltale phony BS, but I was amazed at the reality.

This a good movie, worth the price to see now.

4 ½ Stars on this one, I liked it, my wife liked it and so did the couple we went with to see it..

Might have to check that out. I read the book years ago and it was riveting. I've sailed quite a bit myself.

I too don't do movies anymore either.

Terribly inconsiderate humans who talk like they're in their living room have ruined going.

Last movie I went to, I went berserk when two guys (after politely asking them repeatedly to ssssshhhhhhhh) kept talking at normal voice level and I'd finally had it. They were situated directly in front of me. I yelled at them to stfu NOW!

As it turned out both then immediately got up and found seats far away from me. Both were twice my big, but my sounding as unhinged as I must've they weren't ready to rumble. Thank gawd.

Last time I went to the movies forever.
