Remington 700 bolt for a friend. Bought a spin index and tail stock to use on the milling machine. I did end up using a brass bore saver between the tail stock and the bolt to preserve the firing pin hole. I turned down a piece of Delrin stock as an arbor and threaded it 1/2X13 to fit the bolt shroud. It came out presentable enough for the freebie job I did as he allowed me to use his bolt to learn on... Going to do a couple of mine for practice setting up the equipment and experimenting with different sizes...the lines are straight, the lighting make them appear not to be..but are........

I am still learning to use the lathe and mill I bought. Doing simple projects like bullet knockers for squibs and things like that. Threading old barrels and such. I did use the mill and lathe to make my Sten MkII and M16. will be milling the parts (bolt, lock frame and barrel extension) for the 1919A4 next week sometime..No work for hire yet....still just an amateur....

Squib knocker..... 1.6 in. X 6.5 in. steel that I knurled and drilled to take the brass rod (.340 diameter). Removes squibs quick and easy on .380 and up.....made it a little longer for long barreled revolvers. Customers have a few squibs yearly on the range.

Jeweling job looks very nice, takes patience to get it to come out that nice. Knurling on the squib knocker looks clean and crisp as well. I'd say good job on both accounts.
