Movers have been here less than 2 hours, and they’ve already done more than we did in the last 3 weeks. We started doing some of the packing to save money because they charge $150/hr to pack. Now I’m wishing we would have just had them do it all and conserved our energy.

Throughout my life, I or the family have always done all the packing when we moved. In my experience, when you've done 95% of the work it still doesn't look like you've done anything. Then, suddenly, it's finished.

Don't devalue the work you put in. They wouldn't have been able to get so much done so quickly if you hadn't laid the groundwork.
